What this checker can detect

It flags characters outside basic ASCII, combining marks used for underlines or glitch effects, and common zero-width characters. These are useful warning signals, not a guarantee of how every platform will render the text.

Use fancy text responsibly

Keep important names, contact details and calls to action in plain text. Decorative text is safest as a short accent. Always test it on the target app and, when possible, with a screen reader.

Why searchability can change

Stylized mathematical letters may look like ordinary letters but use different Unicode code points. That can make names harder to search, copy, pronounce or translate.
